Find your Bettine size

A considered fit makes a beautiful pair even better. Use this guide as a starting point, then check the advice on each product.

Choosing your size

Start with your usual European size and check the fit note on the product page. Each shape and material behaves a little differently, so the style-specific advice should always take priority.

If you normally wear a half size and the style is offered only in full sizes, the next full size up is usually the safest starting point.

Women’s size conversion

Measure at home

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel lightly against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark. Repeat for both feet and use the longer measurement.

Measure later in the day, when feet are naturally a little fuller, and wear the hosiery you plan to pair with the shoes.

Narrow or between sizes?

Consider the toe shape, upper material and how secure you prefer the fit. Softer leather may relax with wear, while structured styles hold their shape more firmly. A slim half-insole can improve support for a narrower foot.
