These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Bettine website and purchases made through it.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Products

Bettine is a curated retailer of footwear, handbags and accessories from selected European brands.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours and other information displayed on the website are accurate. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.

Natural materials such as leather, suede and woven materials may display slight variations in colour, texture or finish. These characteristics are not necessarily defects and may form part of the natural material and manufacturing process.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed on the Bettine website are stated in South African Rand.

The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charge, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

The price confirmed at checkout will be the price charged, subject to correction of any obvious pricing or technical error as permitted by law.

4. Orders

Placing an item in your cart does not reserve that item.

An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and Bettine has sent you an order confirmation.

Because Bettine carries limited quantities, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been placed. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the unavailable item.

5. Payment

Payment may be made using the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Bettine does not ordinarily store full payment-card details.

6. Delivery

Bettine currently delivers within South Africa.

Delivery charges, estimated delivery times and free-delivery thresholds are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Risk relating to delivery will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law.

7. Returns and exchanges

Our returns, exchanges, refunds and defective-goods procedures are contained in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any right that a consumer has under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable South African legislation.

8. Intellectual property

All content appearing on the Bettine website, including Bettine branding, website design, text, graphics, photography and other original material created for Bettine, is owned by or licensed to Bettine and may not be reproduced or used without permission.

Third-party brand names, trademarks, logos and product imagery remain the property of their respective owners and are used by Bettine in connection with the lawful retail and promotion of those brands.

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You may not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website, gain unauthorised access to any system, misuse website content or use automated methods to extract information from the website without permission.

10. Errors and availability

We reserve the right to correct genuine typographical, technical or pricing errors and to update website content where reasonably necessary.

Nothing in this clause limits rights arising from a completed transaction where applicable law provides otherwise.
